Tamama -Private Second Class Tamama is ranked Private Second Class in the Keron Army's Keroro Platoon.He is the newest member in the planetary invasion troop, and also the youngest, still having his tadpole tail and white face.Tamama has a dark blue body with yellow headgear and big round eyes. He wears a green and yellow mark on his head and belly, which matches the Shoshinsha mark that new drivers in Japan must display on their cars for one year after obtaining their licenses. His afro is red. He first appears on the third chapter of the manga and in the 2nd episode of the anime.Tamama idolizes and has strong feelings towards Keroro, though the latter seems unaware of them. He hates Moa because of her own feelings for Keroro, and trains hard until the day when he defeats her and gains Keroro's affection. However, sometimes he is shamed of his own evilness when faced with Moa's pure heart. He relies on pure energy in battle, shooting his powerful attack, Tamama Impact,a yellow energy beam, from his mouth, and he's often seen training, usually beating up a piece of wood with a sloppy drawing of Mois.Tamama has mood swings that border on a split personality, just like his human partner Momoka Nishizawa. While usually gentle and cheerful, Tamama can become a vengeful, raving maniac at the drop of a hat.Tamama is also prone to fits of jealousy, usually towards anyone who gets near Keroro, especially Angol Mois, who he frequently refers to as "that woman". These negative feelings power his energy beam.
Giroro -Corporal Giroro is the Corporal of the Keroro Platoon and their weapons expert. His body is a dark red in color, while his headgear is dark maroon with a skull in the middle. He is the only member of the platoon who doesn't wear a symbol in his belly. Instead, he wears a belt with a rectangular buckle diagonally across his body. However, when he was a tadpole, he had a skull symbol on his belly.His afro, which is rarely seen, is blond. He first appears on the second volume of the manga, chapter 11, and in the 3rd episode of the anime.Giroro is in love with Natsumi Hinata, something everyone but Natsumi seems to know, since she defeated all his traps he set when he arrived to the Hinata house.That is why he would attack anyone who harms her and also the reason why he views Mutsumi Saburo as a strong romantic rival, but also Koyuki, who has a crush on her.Ever since his first encounter with the Hinatas, Giroro has been living in a tent in their backyard, where he roasts sweets potatoes he sometimes shares with Natsumi and obsessively cleans his weapons. The buckle of his belt hides his treasure, a photo of Natsumi.Giroro has a short temper, and he is often irritated by the laid back and unfocused attitude towards the invasion of the other members of the Platoon, specially Keroro. He appears to be gruff, but he is an honorable frog with a good heart. He often shares his tent with a whiteish pink female cat whom he rescued from the rain and named "Miss Furbottom. Unknowingly to him, the cat is in love with Giroro. He lacks any other hobby apart from his weapons and he is terrified of ghosts and sea cucumbers.He also cannot drink more than a drop of alcohol without passing out.
Kululu -Sergeant Major Kululu is the head of communications in the Keroro Platoon. His body is yellow in colour,with orange headgear that includes two headphone-like white pieces over his ears.His forehead and belly mark is a filled spiral. He also wears glasses with spirals on them. He first appears on the second volume of the manga, chapter 20,and in the 9th episode of the anime. Kululu was originally blue when he was little,but at the end of the short movie Secret of the Kero Ball, he became yellow,due to being stuck in a huge plate of curry that Keroro made for him from the Kero Ball.Although he is of a higher rank than Keroro, he is not the leader of the Platoon due to his unpleasant and unnerving demeanor, which has given him the nickname of 'Yellow Devil'. Kululu is renowned to be enigmatic, deceitful, and downright evil, and has a habit snickering at the beginning and end of a sentences. Unlike the rest of the platoon who specialize in combat, Kululu's expertise lies in his high-level technological prowess, including hacking and inventing, and has designed and created most of the gadgets and weapons used by the platoon. Being the least emotional of the Keroro Platoon, he is almost never seen being moved to tears or smiles by any events, though at the same time he rarely, if ever, panics when something goes wrong, likely due to the multiple dangers from his own inventions outweighing it. Kululu's Achilles heel is Mois' pure heart. He has no defense against it, and when confronted by it, he's willing to do anything just to get her to leave.
Dororo -Lance Corporal Dororo is the latest of the platoon to appear. His body is medium blue with light gray ninja-like headgear and mouthpiece. His forehead and belly mark is a four-pointed shuriken and he always carries a sheathed knife on the back. His pink afro is the one seen more rarely. He is the last member of the platoon to appear, making his debut in the 7th volume of the manga, chapter 55, and the 13th episode of the anime.Then known as Lance Corporal Ze, he graduated from the Keron Military Academy under the rank of Lance Corporal. After serving alongside Zoruru in an elite assassin squad, under the command of Captain Jirara, he was assigned as the assassin of the Keroro Platoon alongside Keroro, Giroro, Tamama and Kululu. They were given the mission to conquer Pekopon. After crash landing on Pekopon, Zeroro was rescued by ninja-in-training Koyuki Azumaya . Wishing to follow the way of the ninja, Zeroro changed his name to Dororo.
